I always meet with a couple before a wedding at least once; mainly so there are no introductions on the day and we all feel comfortable with each other and what’s happening etc. This was definitely not needed for this couple though! I’ve known Emma & Alastair for years. Ally and I played in the same pipe band for over a decade, so when they asked me to photograph their wedding I was super excited.
