June 2021, and my first wedding since 2019. I guess there will be a lot of crazy stats like that amongst many folk in the wedding industry but it still begs belief. That being said, it’s good to be back behind the camera again doing what I love.
And what a wedding to start with! I’ve known Stewart and his family for years, so it was especially nice to capture his wedding to Ashleigh after their 5th rescheduled date. Set amongst the picturesque fields just outside Larkhall in the Radstone Hotel, it was a slightly more intimate event due to the guidelines. In fact it actually felt very normal. Yes a few moments where facemasks were needed, but if anyone has any doubts or reservations about having their wedding just now, there’s really no need worry.
