Claire & Chris got married at St Helen’s Church in Shawlands without a hitch (if you discount the doubling back for her flowers – see if you can spot the photo below!) Taking it all in her stride, she quickly nipped back to pick them up and proceedings got underway. After the ceremony, we took the short trip along to The Vu in Bathgate, a purpose built wedding venue about 30 minutes drive from Glasgow. In true Summer 2018 fashion it was another scorcher. Their guests enjoying the drinks reception outside beside the small loch as we grabbed the formals and the classic pier shot (you know me, I’m not hugely into staged shots, but when you mix a pier on a loch, a clear day and newlyweds it’s difficult to resist – I hope you’ll forgive me) A great day with a really special couple which was truly a pleasure to photograph.
